Tweens and teens Wellness camps

Mixed Wellness Camp day

10-4pm Friday 28th August

All food for the day is included- the menu will focus on nutrition with mainly organic options.

Snack, lunch and an afternoon treat included.

Please inform the staff of any allergies.

As the summer is drawing to a close, treat your son or daughter to a day of focussing on them.

How they approach the next few months or season ahead can be enhanced with some time to connect inward and with peers.

The space will be held by Lorna and Graziano. Both facilitators have a lot of experience working with young people and in educational settings.

We are aiming to engage the young people in our care with some classic games and active pastimes, including some camp favourites such as ‘capture the flag’. We will be gathering to eat, chat and spend time creating connections through board games and garden games. How your child shows up in the space is how we will receive them, it is important to us that they feel comfortable.

This day is a pause, a reset and a look behind and ahead at what is coming for Autumn.

How is your son or daughter approaching the new season and what can they gain from taking a moment to tune into their thoughts and patterns?

As always, please reach out for a free ‘get to know you’ call if your young adult would like to meet me first and would like to hear more about their day.

Wednesday 28th October 2026 - GIRLS only wellness camp - age 10-16

Young women check this out.
Gather for fun physical activities (no skill needed, just a willingness to participate).
Great food (lunch provided)
Afternoon activities of journaling, physical care and some creativity.
Join with other 10-16 year old young women for company, inclusive conversations and a day of learning something new.

You wont have been to a camp like it. Be part of something different from the standard active camps, this pace is centred around young women. We learn together what we need to feel well, confident and thriving.
Be brave and try a new camp this February half term.

ALL food and activities provided.
Phones are to be kept in a phone creche - only accessible in emergencies but well looked after. It's a chance to switch off from the tech and be present with others giving yourself and them your full attention.
The hours are 10am-4pm

We are learning about our own wellness all of the time. What our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies need is changing all of the time. This is a chance for you to learn more about yourself in a supportive and guided place.
Most of all we can have fun and connect through sisterhood and what it is to be a young woman today. The sessions are for you and designed around you.

FULLY insured and run by a qualified teacher.

Camps will be held 4x per year in
February half term, Easter holiday, Summer holiday and October half term.

Parents of tweens and teens aged 10-16 this notice is for you.

Places exist where your son and daughters and welcomed and celebrated. These tender years of transition from boy to man and girl to woman are welcomed at Heart Centred Parenting events. Our wellness camps are a space held specifically to enhance your young person’s experience of the years of tween and teenhood. We aim to create an environment where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, to be free to express their voices and to be centred in the conversation. At a time when society is demanding a lot from them, we open our doors to their experience. There are no requirements to join in with our camp days other than a willingness to be part of the group.

The wellness days include

- some sports or physical activity (all skill levels welcomed)

- homemade (mostly organic) lunch and snacks/drinks

- quieter and connected conversations and activities

- journaling / reflection time (integrated into the activities)

- guest volunteers with varying skill sets (sports, Pilates, reflexology, mindset coach etc…)

Our days are centred around a welcoming and nurturing vibration, here your son or daughter will learn about community living and communicating with peers in an open and honest way.

If your young adult would like to connect with me first online, I offer a call to meet them or come in to Love Local, Copford on a Wednesday where they can meet me in person.

Any questions are welcomed.

Keep an eye on my Instagram to be the first to hear about my family events.
